Rebecca had the idea to try some light graffiti while we were waiting for the lightning. She was good at it…her name was easily legible and semi-straight every time. Me on the other hand… not so much. I’ll stay behind the camera.

Catching Summer heat lightning last week during our evening walk. Of course I was out with no camera and had to jog all the way back to the house for the gear. We sat atop the hill for about 45 minutes admiring the Heavenly light show. I was hoping for some really nice bolts but it wasn’t to be… maybe next time.

From what I understand, this is the most powerful machine ever built. 7.5 million pounds of thrust. These big boys are what lifted astronauts to the moon during the Apollo missions.
