This is an archive photo that I’ve wanted to post for some time but never got around to it. And since I haven’t been shooting in ages, now seems like a good time. This is one of my favorite photos of Rebecca when we were in Washington DC a few years ago. She is standing in one of the many thresholds that surround the amphitheater at Arlington National Cemetery. Behind the amphitheater you will find the tomb of the unknown soldier which is guarded by a marine soldier 24/7. If you haven’t witnessed the changing of the guard there, it is definitely a must see… very powerful.

Worn brick is just beautiful. It’s textures and character never seem to get old.

One of my favorite shows of all time was the Andy Griffith Show. For my money nobody has ever been funnier than Don Knotts as Barney Fife! This kid was the spitting image of Opie Taylor… ears and all! The shot was taken at the portrait class from a couple weeks back.
