I’ve driven on HWY 231 to Shelbyville TN many times. Each time I’ve passed these old barns and kicked myself for not having a camera. Finally back on birthday, Rebecca and I got a chance to stop and explore. They’re beautiful! Like two old men… brothers even. Watching the world drive by. Next time I’ll grab a GPS plot on the place and post it for those of you who might like to see.

I love this photo; beautiful angle, wonderful framing, and the dynamic clouds perfectly offset the varying degrees of gray in the barn.
They’ve since cut the fields around these barns; just seems to change the atmosphere altogether.

Love the slopes in this picture. The barn, the clouds, the trees, and the grassy hill all flow and part diagonally across the middle. Great shot.
